How to create text input dynamically with JavaScript?

Spread the love

To create text input dynamically with JavaScript, we call createElement.

For instance, we write

const input = document.createElement("input");
input.type = "text";
input.className = "css-class-name";
container.appendChild(input);

to call createElement to create an input element.

Then we set its type property to the type attribute value.

We set the className attribute to set the class attribute value.

And we call container.appendChild to append the input as the last child of the container element.
